My current client saw a home that was very easy to show. He saw that property easily.
You know the story right? Lock Box, code, courtesy keys are located at, etc ...
I do read the descriptions and the agent remarks and I do try to follow the description and so on. Need 24 notice, not a problem. Between this and that hour, not a problem. Tenant will be present, I will show the home even if the tenant is present.
Since I'm a full time Realtor, it's easier to show the properties at any time. Of course, it is up to the client. Does he have time?
Here is my little rant that many of you may relate to. Agent or a buyer. Not the seller, the seller is telling us that it is easy to show.
Really, how easy? Property must be vacant and the keys easily accessible. Morning, evening, any time of the day. It's easy to show! We should be able to call 15 minutes before the appointment. Well I would not call on such a short notice, or maybe I would; it is easy to show.
Here comes the phone call appointment:
Hi, my name is Haris with Prime Realty and I would like to schedule a showing for hmmmm for; should my sentence start with; I would like to make an appointment for your easy to show listing at EasyToShow Road.
Here comes the answer:
You can pick up the courtesy keys at this location, only Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm.
I picked up the keys and showed that 'never been easier to show' property.
Now I have to drive back to that location 6 miles away from that listing. Very easy to drive. Not yet. No boxes to leave the keys after hours. I have to drive back to that location the next day to return the keys. How easy is that?
I would really love to show any property, at any time. You tell me and I will not have a problem. The problem begins before the showing. Even if it's difficult to show, I will show it. Just give me the instructions on the phone and take off that 'easy to show' remark that you have.
