Mount Prospect Jaycees 47th Annual Turkey Trot

Since 1963 On Thanksgiving morning the Mt. Prospect Jaycees have also hosted this annual Turkey Trot for families in the Mount Prospect community. The Turkey Trot run is hosted at the Mount Prospect Golf Course and is now the oldest continual running event in the Chicagoland area.

When: Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 25, 2010
Where: Mt. Prospect Golf Course, 600 See Gwun
Time: First race begins at 9:15 AM ( 8:00 AM Check-in )
Cost: Adults, 15 and up- $15, Children 14 and under – $5

4th Golden Paw Gala Saturday, Nov. 13th at 7pm*

Your pets are already the king and queen of the house, now they can earn a Golden Paw Gala crown!  During the evening’s Pet Pageant, a furry King and Queen of Giving will be crowned for their acts of philanthropy for the animals at Heartland!

ABC 7 News Reporter Charles Thomas will serve as this year special host.
