Use Of Internet To Search For Homes

Every time that I receive an email or magazine from my favorite real estate media, national or local association I can't wait to open it.They always provide me with great tools and resources to help me and my clients. I wanted to share these stats from my latest Realtor Magazine.

The data below is provided by Illinois Association of Realtors.

use of internet for home search

Real estate agents were viewed as a very useful information source by 81% of buyers who used an agent while searching for a home.

90% of the buyers found their home online.

Haris:  Clients need to be reminded by we professionals in the industry that they cannot ask and receive personal and immediate answers to their questions from an online only source like they can from a human.  The internet is a remarkable tool ... especially paired with the personal and individualized service that only a real caring human can offer.  It's the little extras that we employ in our services that make us indispensable.

We hear about these stats so it's nice to actually see them in print.  Pretty powerful info.
